The wonderful Alex Price has turned up alive and well in Father Brown - his character does a lot of laconic mooching about and chain-smoking as well as crime busting and classic retro steering wheelmanship, so I'd say a little Gilbert has lingered in the DNA. Anyone else watching yet?
