I don't think Mitchell knew that it was possible to resurrect Herrick (didn't know about Cara) and for some reason Vamps only turn to dust when staked.

Owen say's 'Thats not true' Annie replies 'I seen it' that what got me thinking about Hell. But that corridor, the MwSaR and purgatory are hell like, and we'll never know :-/
