These episodes hold up to rewatching so, so well. I always see something new, some clever thing they put in that you never notice the first time around.

Mitchell just wants to belong. He's completely failed at belonging to the humans. Herrick has been telling him how welcome he is. Of course he goes back.
Yes, he shouldn't have! Fleur did what all parents would do. But for Mitchell it was maybe dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. Poor choice between death and becoming a vampire!
