Its very sad, and it was a daft idea to come to this topic first . I would have been nice if the bods at BBC 3 could have been thoughtful enough to leave it open until after we got the DVD but thoughtful isn't their strong point! I second Su, at least we do now have a place (thanks to her) to express our being human obsession together and to keep friendship going and to make new ones!

 

Plus we can edit our posts!!!

The end of an era.

The last Being Human blog post is now "Closed to entries."

It's awful isn't it. I thought they would have kept it open for comments about the DVD at least....I made lifelong friends on that blog, lets hope this forum will help those friendships easily continue :) x

Dang! Couldn't they have left it open until the DVDs come out and maybe until it finishes airing in the US?  I'm glad this forum is here.

I haven't seen MancVamp here yet, I can't remember if Misty has been here, not sure *goes to look*

And agreed - who's brilliant idea was it to end the blog the week BEFORE the DVD's came out?? does anyone who works at that institiution have any sensible, coherent thoughts at all in their heads these days?? Seems not.

Obviously not or they wouldn't have needlessly killed such a fabulous show after Toby and the new cast did such a masterful job of saving it.  How could anyone expect anything less than horrible decision making out of the lot at bbc3?

What I never understood was why they gave up promoting it. Yes, it was the last series but the bbc always bleet on about viewing figures being important so why did they just stop bothering?

The BBC three peeps were complete dooche bags about series 4&5 to be honest. Look at the adverts for series 3! Loads of publicity, i remember seeing it everywhere! I didnt even know series 4 was gonna be on until about a week before. Its rediculous x
