We just got some bad news, Michael will not be at Collectormania this year. He has had to cancel as he will working on a new film in the US (the good news!)
I really love the look of this! I love once upon a time anyway so I would be looking forward to this show already but socha has made it all the more exciting!! Xx

Pondering this... despite sticking with "Once Upon a Time" so far, getting incresingly twitchy with its going-nowhere-not-very-fast-ness... Too many characters in the mix (and too many VERY dodgy costumes) but, especially, no clear sense from any of the writers that there's a whacking great difference between the timeless folk tales of European tradition and e.g. books written by actual authors in damn-near living memory, like Alice and Peter Pan. I suppose I want to say - don't mess with Carroll and Barrie, 'cos they'll bite you in the bum. But - obviously- anything with the excellent Mr Sorcha in the mix wil be worth a look (even if his agent has steered him into a potentially godawful crime against narrative compatability.
Just started watching once upon a time this series since I heared Michael was going to be in the spinoff, I am enjoying it but like Marigold said, not sure where it is going
Michael recently was tweeting from the Durham area. Our own Ruby has discovered that he was filming for the new Inspector George Gently series and will be epi!

The good thing about this as well is that it looks to be a completely seperate show to the original so all of michaels fans can watch without getting confused :) xx

You lost me a bit - are you talking about Inspector Gently or Once Upon a Time here - because if it's the latter, confusion rules, and I'm just talking about the writers! I can't imagine a spin-off being less incoherent that the original show - which has so many plotlines and characters milling about that I'm surprised anyone thought that ANYTHING was clearly detachable to run as a seperate show... seriously, on a weekly basis they juggle real life small town USA, the generic fairlytale-land AND Neverland, AND Wonderland as going concerns.
I think I'd like to call for suggestions about where they could go next - obviously Narnia, Middle Earth, Discworld and the Planet of the Clangers are all in there somewhere - supposing Tigger broke through from Hundred Acre Wood and scoffed all the opium in Xanadu...
Hi Marigold, Su was talking about once Upon a time in Wonderland I believe. Once upon a time didn't grab me at all but I will give Wonderland more of ago due to Michael. Also there seems to be just three central characters so maybe it will be less confusing

Well lovely michael has been having a lot of fun recently! Yesterday he attended comicon in California to join a panel about his new show 'once upon a time in wonderland'! There is a lot of buzz around this new show and michael is getting a lot of attention! So exciting to see our boy doing so amazingly well :)
Here are some pictures of Michael at the event xx

I have scripted Michaels question from the comicon panel...
Fan "Hi my name is joy and my question is for Michael"
Michael "Hiya"
Fan "Hi, I was a huge fan of Being Human UK" *crowd cheers* "I was wondering how it feels to work on the US market now and I'd like to welcome you"
Michael "Thank you very much, well it's brilliant, I've been given a wonderful opportunity and um, a completely different character which really helps and, I throughly enjoy it and I'm just happy I made it across the sea and here I am! San Diego first, then Vancouver, I'm absolutely shattered I am! Vancouver tomorrow!
Producer "Your not actually part werewolf then?"
Michael "No, oh no, that's pretend that"
*crowd laughs*
Producer *pretends to make note* "Not, real, werewolf"
*crowd laughs some more*
Michael "Thank you for a lovely warm welcome"
*crowd cheers loudly*

Good grief- does anyone know who the vapid plastic blonde is, so botoxed she can't even give the man a proper peck on the cheek? If she's anyone but the coffee-gofer, an actress or some such, this series is in deepest poo before it kicks off...
Was SOOO trying to keep an open mind that this spin off would be a success, but unknown blonde seems to be quite high profile in the photos - it does not bode well from where I'm sitting

Hi! Just wondering if anyone knows when Wonderland will show in the UK? Quite interested to watch it with Michael in it but can't find nothing on when it will show here.

As far as I'm aware OUATinWonderland won't be shown over here at all. Channel 5 announced recently that they will not be showing series 3 of the main OUAT over here so I doubt they will bother with a spin off show.
I'm annoyed about the main show as I've watched the first 2 series and really enjoyed them, it's unfair to leave us hanging!
I've seen a couple of michaels episodes and I've gotta say, I was not keen....but I would watch it for the pure fact he is in it xx
Michael was fantastic in silent witness. It is not a show I normally watch but thoroughly enjoyed it, well worth catching on iplayer.
That is a shame about OUAT, wonder why.
Got me wondering too - I mean, if Channel 5 have suddenly decided to stop showing crowd-pleasing lightweight twaddle, they'll be left with repeats of the weather forecast...
Maybe it was too expensive? (Although I wish they'd spend as much on the writers as the costumes). And I was looking forward to the spinoff, if only for Mr Socha.
Have they recently been poaching party-pooping scheduling lackeys from the BBC? If so, things back there might be looking up...
