I've uploaded Series 5 to YouTube, but again YouTube's copyright policy over songs may block the videos in certain countries 
 
My original plan was to keep them online until the DVD's are released, to tide us over - but I'm open to negotiation ;)

Could you keep them up until the DVDs come out in the US?  They come out soon in the UK but no telling how long we will have to wait here. We'll probably have to wait for the full season to air on BBCA (late summer?). The Blu-rays will probably be listed as "region free" but they really aren't because they still will not play on most machines in the US according to research I've been doing on Amazon. cry

I'm just covering my own back really. As I'm sure most of us here are willing to buy the DVD box set, I personally don't see any harm in us watching them here as well ;)....I just don't think the BBC will see it the same way lol

Totally! I had the blu-ray box set on pre-order until I found out that the "region free" blu-ray still probably wouldn't play here.  I don't even own a blu-ray machine.  I was willing to buy one just so I could get my fix sooner than having to wait for the Region 1 DVDs to be released. I'll order them just as soon as they will let me. 

This whole region thing is so barbaric.  Shows/movies should be released everywhere at the same time.  We live in a globally connected world.

If anybody is experiencing problems watching any of these videos, it's because BBC America have filed a copyright notice & have blocked certain countries from viewing furious
