Anyone who wants to help make the new forum please make any suggestions in the topics in this section!

This is for the Being Human family so we all have somewhere to get together when the blog we all know and love disappears! :(  hopefully we can make this as a group!

If anyone wants to be a moderator let me know in this topic!

hello!

As everyone may or may not know I run a forum for Damien Molony on the same platform so I kinda know how they work!
I ma really happy to continue giving behind the scenes advice on layout and what is and is not possible with these forums..to save time in the planning stages!

I have said this to Su already, but do need to say at this point at large, before things get even more set in stone, it is a good idea to look around at different formats and different providers for forums, this is just one of many! The last thing you need is to begin something to find that it does not meet your needs further down the line as things grow..

they are a canadian based company, they have been very good to me and have excellent customer service and they offer this free board which is customizeable more than others. the free boards still offer unlimited space FREE.

BUT..there are limitations with the free boards, compulsory on board advertising, no chat box, no custom smilies. no custom header and footer areas and other featured. The subscription costs are fairly high to upgrade, based on the amount of views per month >>

(I have a special deal on DMF because they know me and my situation i would never be able to afford these prices otherwise) there is an option to add a contribution box but that is not a guaranteed income.

Knowing the forum platform I Just felt I have a responsibilty to say all that!

No, this is the free version of the board, but if you want the extras i listed, there are costs. (the link shows you how the costs are worked out). The reason I mention it is because it is really important to consider the bigger picture, starting something you can't sustain further down the line because you want extra features. But, if you are happy to keep the free board without any add ons this is a very good platform!

Hi, I'd love to be a moderator, if you don't have anyone else in mind!

I'm never any good with huge, in depth analysis conversations (which is how it sometimes goes in the BH community!), but I would love to be able to contribute to this forum in other ways! Being a moderator would be one way, I really want to put the effort in and see this forum thrive!

I'll help any way I can! I'm not a great designer but I have done manipulation of graphics and do have experience with HTML and CSS. PS, I just realized my message board isn't working on the pastorjakerichie site, we recently changed domains and I forgot to change it. No one really used it any way so it's not my top priority... have you thought about using Wordpress?

To be honest this is the first site i have ever created so i am learning as i go! If you feel like getting creative and want to design a banner or a background then feel free and ill make a poll for people to choose which they would like to see here :)

Any help is greatly appreciated so if you have any suggestions then let me know :) x
