Our lovely last Blog Master Stephen has sent this christmas message to all the Being Human fans but especially the BBC bloggers, you know who you are!
"I spent four years trying to get the Being Human blog master gig and when I got it the series came to an end! I loved the show from The Pilot to the show finale and the chance to work on a genre show with so much attention to detail, to enjoy and discuss, was one any Community Manager would leap at. I have to say the Being Human online fanbase were even more of a joy to work with! Sadly, no new Being Human in 2014.
What I love about Toby’s final script is that it leaves it open to us to decide how Hal, Tom and Alex take on Captain Hatch (surely Captain Birdseye’s evil opposite) when they realise the truth in THAT DVD extra scene. I’ve speculated that their endgame would feature four participants so why not decide the fate of all humanity over a game of Hungry Hippos? Winner (s)takes all. What do you think? Being Human would make for a great comic book continuation (ala Buffy & Angel) and Being Human got a first series commission based on an online petition. See where I’m going with this?
Thanks for making Series 5 such a pleasure to work on (and forgiving the odd typo or ten) this year. Merry Christmas and a vampy New Year!”

This message was kindly forwarded to the forum by MancVamp who also asked me to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
I have to apologize for this only going up now. I was sent it by email, but fortunately I didn't check my email over Christmas and I have only just found it. Sorry Steve and thank you for your lovely message!

I think he wants to write a continuation as a comic book, or to have someone write one. I've read the Buffy ones, produced with Joss Whedon's participation, which are considered canon. They're no substitute for TV, but they keep the Buffyverse alive.
What wonderful treats to find over here today! Thanks everyone.
