So impressed, Star - you have the two of us dancing right there, to the life!

 

A bit worried about the girlie theme tonight - I recently had my eyebrows waxed for the first time, by accident, and it was a Very Bad Thing...  eyepopping.gif... and I can't promise to be putting the full slap on at all as a result...

 

Mrs B, you're already here too and all computered up - fantastic!

Sounds worse, actually! I feel a bit better already...

Took my mum for a manicure, was having a facial myself, and the sweet beautician said she'd run out of things to do (not a matter of my excelling gorgeousness, but just a lower blackhead tally than usual, I think) So she said, all innocence, would I like her to "tidy" my eyebrows - I'm a plucking virgin even, so I said yes. NOW I know "tidy" is beautician-speak for "with speedy and ruthless efficiency, slap hot wax on and go beserk ripping hair our - actually RIPPING MY ACTUAL EYEBROWS HALF OFF...

And when I stopped yelling she'd still only done one. And could barely stop laughing to steady her hands to make the second one match the first.

Yes, could very well be right in the mood for Type 4 empathy, come to think of it.

Threading takes longer than waxing :-/ Wouldn't like to debate which is worse! And they do seem to be ruthless with the amount of eyebrow they want to remove...
