I've had this idea running through my mind for a while.
It's a book called "McNair Said...Guidance and Advice for a Young Werewolf". Basically the book is all the things McNair has taught Tom and some new bits of advice.
I've thinking of emailing the BBC with my idea. Please tell me if I'm being stupid.

I don't know. I thought the BBC because it their program, if you get what I mean. I'm gonna give it a go and start writing it. I will get back to you when I have a draft. :)

superb idea - there are plenty of unofficial books out there on many things from tv shows to celebrities so I am sure the Beeb couldn't stop it being printed.
depends on whether you want it published officially, published unofficially, or published online unofficially. I think it qualifies as fic. I mean, I wouldn't flag it as spam in the BH tag on AO3.
It could have sections on love: "you're like a bee and she's like a flower". And sections on finance: "even with a basic bank account, your compound interest would be through the roof!" And on how to conduct one's self in society: "always be kind and polite and have the ingredients to build a bomb" which I'm pretty sure is a 21st century version of speak softly and carry a big stick.
Lest we forget: It's not stealing if it's from a big shop.
And always have a proper lunch and a nap before full-moon nights.
