This forum is customizeable.

This has been set up as a starting point, based on classic Being Human style colours just to give you an idea, but everything can be changed according to what people want to make it into as a group!

the things you can customize are:

Header

Background picture

main page colour

posting area colour

font colours and sizes

 

(this is just for the design, we have another topic for the names of the categories on the front page)

 

Anyone want to brainstorm?

I quite like this design :) tho I think the white writing on black BG might get some complains (it did on the blog)
Light BG and dark writing seems for some to be easier to read

Su were the text is over the back ground picture the white and yellow is difficult to see, so may be put a plain box around the text to make it easier to see?

Well i'm slightly color blind any way. So i'll leave the color picking to every one else :') Although my favorite color is Orange! :D .. thought id add that ;)

But so far i can read every thing and see every thing :D

So far I'm liking the color scheme, everything in the posting area works great.  The text fades into the background picture....

As for background pic, I vote for a HH feel?  Perhaps the multicolored blinds? 

Doing a fab job Su!  (and others that are pitching in)  let me know how I can help.

I agree with whimsy about something HH feely for the background. It's somewhere all the main characters had in common.
Thought the full moon pic like on the credits might look good on the header too.....

Hi Maybe its just my PC ..when I click on a thread I wonder if for the actual thread page you could make the Being Human Forum header a bit smaller? Major page downs ensue ( I know mini inconvenience and nothing big) x

I was going to ask the same thing -- could we make the header smaller so we don't have to scroll a whole screen down for every page.

I did consider including nina but i felt that using the 2 different trinity pictures worked better as a background image :) i havent forgotten about her, promise ;) x

Minor thing but does any one else have problems telling the yellow and white flag thingies apart that tell you about unread posts? Do they have to be yellow and white or do we have better colour choices?

Sorry - I don't wish to intrude. I love the back ground images - but personally, I find it a bit too busy for my liking. I was just wondering if there were any other kinds of backgrounds or even if you'd like help designing a new one (I'm sad - I love challenges like this...) I would love to help if you wanted db

Looks good but perhaps the middle part could be less busy behind the actual forum etc? Or maybe lighter or black and white? Just that it took me a while to read a lot of the text with the images behind :) Looks good though :)
